Hey everyone,
Yes, it's really me. It's been a very long time, hasn't it? Well, the most recent chapter of my life is just about finished and a new one is just about to start. So as promised, here's my update....
When I learned to ski (and snowboard) up at the mountain new years eve 2006, I met a (very handsome) young man named Andrew. He was the snowboard supervisor and in charge of assigning lessons. Over the next few months as I became an instructor up there Andrew and I became very good friends. We ended up spending a lot of time riding chair lofts together and I learned a more and more about him. He was a strong christian, homeschooled, raised on a farm, from a large family, and loved extreme sports (especially snowboarding). In February, he talked with my dad and made sure it was okay that we were hanging out together. In March, he asked to court me....he asked me soon after, on a chair lift of course.

Over the summer I spent a lot of time with his family and visited his church often. He spent a lot of time driving a hour and a half to visit my family. In September, he rented a apartment in town so we were only 20 mins apart. In November, we talked a lot about marriage and life and weddings. In December, he asked my father's permission to marry me and got his father's blessing. On December 25th Andrew and I volunteered to work up at the ski hill so the married guys could be with their families on christmas. That afternoon, after work, he walked with me over to the teaching area where he first saw me. He gave me a big hug, pulled my grandmother's ring he had reset out of his jacket, and asked if I wold marry him. I said yes. We will be married in a less than two weeks on Valentine's day.

So......how was that for an update?
Hugs for everybody,
Lu
